In the process of developing the insurance market of Uzbekistan for nine months of 2024, Uzbekinvest ensured the collection of insurance premiums in the amount of UZS 810.8 billion.
The gross collection of reinsurance premiums amounted to USD 35.6 million. At the same time, the share of exports of insurance services in the company’s insurance portfolio amounted to 52%. National exporters of goods and services were provided with insurance protection in the amount of USD 2.2 billion.
The collection of insurance premiums in the corporate segment amounted to UZS 211.9 billion, more than 53.8 thousand contracts were concluded with legal entities.
In the insurance segment for individuals, premiums were collected in the amount of UZS 72.8 billion, with an increase of 115% compared to the same period last year. Over the nine months of 2024, more than 670 thousand contracts were concluded with individuals. Within the framework of the mahallabay project, the collection of insurance premiums in the amount of UZS 34.2 billion was ensured within nine months.
As of the beginning of September 2024, the Uzbekinvest company strengthened its first place in the market of compulsory civil liability insurance for vehicle owners. At the same time, over the nine months of 2024, the company’s digital platforms helped sell more than 561.9 thousand online policies, which amounted to more than 15% of the total share of insurance policies sold.
For 9 months of 2024, the amount of insurance payments of the company amounted to UZS 142.1 billion, which is UZS 9.7 billion more than the figure for 9 months of 2023. Of these, UZS 27.8 billion were paid for compulsory types of insurance and UZS 114.3 billion for voluntary types of insurance.
Maintaining a commitment to ensuring high quality of services provided, in April 2024, the compliance of the services provided by the company with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 was once again confirmed and a certificate of conformity was received from the international certification body Cert International.
Also in April 2024, the international rating agency A.M. Best Company Inc. in the USA officially confirmed the financial stability rating of the insurance company Uzbekinvest at BB level with a Stable forecast.
